Yay! So yesterday I payed off my entire flight plan and got my visa granted! I'm off on a mighty adventure to the USofA in about a month and a half *dance*
So i'm finally looking forward to not working in hospitality and doing something out of the ordinary for a good 3 months! Yayy!
Hrm. Whats new? Well my tattoo has faded a whole bunch, i've got the option of having it touched up for free shortly or i could leave it as is, and save on the removal bill in 10 years time which i think i'll do because i've found that i have hardly any clothes which show off the tattoo in the first place so who gives! If i cant see it then i dont see why i should bother to touch it up anyway. All that happened is in the healing stage it grew a scab which came off eventually and in the process took off all the red in one section of the top portion of the mushroom. Only slightly visible from a distance, but oh well. Ontop of this, the vibrant red had peeled away to be a sort of apricot pink (which doesnt look terrible) but defeats the purpose of it being red RED. I still love it anyway but i'm slightly disapointed that it cost me $140 when for a tattoo that size it should have only been maybe... $80 tops... hrmm.
Thinking of getting me another, however this time its going to be on the bottom of my toe. I might open a competition here on DA to gather tiny tattoo designs (there will be a prize!) to help those who'd like to get one but are
1) not willing to pay the price of a huge tattoo and want something nice anyway
2) Not allowed to get a tattoo due to family/social/work reasons and want something small to be nice and hidden away.

I'll fork out for a DA sub or something for whoever can come up with a nifty design (when i can think of a contest theme)
And to boot, you might get to see your tiny design tattooed forever to the bottom of my foot x3
I'll update later on that if i decide to go ahead with it.
